Big News for the 1st November, we have re-engineered part of our cloud to take advantage of cutting edge technology and infrastructure pricing. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN LLOYD? Well, my friends, that means Pureflow can now offer the same great service with a big bump up in included traffic and much cheaper traffic prices all round.

If you are one of our many Wordpress users you might be aware of the rather glacial rate of change in some (mostly user interface), areas of the code. This has been a source of irritation for part of Wordpress community while being a source of pleasure for those wishing things in the world generally would just slow down a bit already.
With the impending merge of the Gutenberg project into Wordpress 5.0 it’s possible, depending on how your site has been put together, that your site could stop working with future Wordpress updates. Below are a few resources to read up on these important changes:

If you need to set a seperate Billing email address so invoices are emailed to the right place we now support this in your account. We've also added a Dev email address which will be a catch all for alerts about site services.
If you don't set either of these, no problem, we'll keep sending emails to the users associated with your account.

Thanks to everyone who reported bugs and missing features with the new dashboard, all fixed:

Finally! The new dashboard is live and ready to be hammered. It includes a number of improvements including monthly invoices that make the whole billing procedure much more elegant, you can even set it to automatically settle your account with your credit card every month.
From a geek perspective the new dash is built with the React.js framework and gets us ready for opening API's if we ever need to. In our humble opinion React is a real break through in development ease so send us your feature requests and bugs, we can get to work on it pronto!

Yep, we're still here being busy busy. This month we have added some improvements to the SSL infrastructure and have started tuning up a new public website (you can see it here http://preview.pureflow.io) which we'll put live soon. The new management panel comes next.

Wow, what an amazing summer here in NZ! We hope you've been enjoying it and wish you an excellent 2018 with many challenges, adventures and no website outages.
Here at Pureflow we're getting back in the saddle and starting to work towards the release of our new Management Panel and getting to work on our new features roadmap. Let us know if there is anything you need urgently.

The last few weeks we have been rebuilding our admin panel, moving to an API driven architecture with a React javascript front end. We hope to make rolling out new features faster and smoother and make the panel work beautifully across all browser platforms and devices. If you'd like to be in on the Beta and use it as it evolves let us know :-)

We've experienced some system outages today as our load balancer insisted on re-building itself and assumed a fresh IP address, due to a bug now squashed. Sites across Pureflow were down for up to 3 hours :-( This was our largest outage since Pureflow started and the real tragedy is Lloyd's fancy apple watch didn't alert him, we're looking at investing in the one with electric shock notifications.
We have updated our monitoring to catch this type of failure. We don't think this will be a recurrent issue.
Apologies, and if anybody is experiencing issues please contact us directly.

For over a year now we have been busy building and tuning the backend hosting platform that underpins Pureflow. It's now running like a finely tuned machine and we have been starting to think about how we take the next step and find more customers and fund the next layer of features we'd like to build.
Hosting websites is a highly competitive and mature market, and connecting with the right people is difficult. For us to get our message out we are seeking to team up with somebody who revels in this sort of challenge.
Our targets are realistic and we would prefer a long term relationship where the right person earned equity in Pureflow for their initial work and became an integral part of the team.
If you know of anybody or have done this sort of thing before and have some advice for us, let us know!
